Stayed one night visiting relative. From moment we arrived were made to feel welcome. Room was pleasant well proportioned with all expected amenities and spotless. We had small plates dinner which was excellent quality, well cooked, with great service from Jonathan and reasonably priced. Breakfast was £14 extra for the full English and boy was it worth it! The ingredients again were first class and again perfectly cooked. Will we stay again when visiting relative, you bet.

We stayed for 8 days at the Psalter. Great location, the room was modern, clean and very comfortable. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the Sunday Lunch. The staff are really friendly, attentive and are genuinely happy. Will definitely stay again next time in Sheffield.

This hotel was wonderful. The room that I stayed in was magnificent with a well equipped bathroom and tv. No Air conditioning but I asked for two fans and they worked perfectly. There's a nice breeze that can sometimes come through which is great for the area to cool. No elevator which could make the journey up to the rooms a little tricky but I did get offered a hand to help me up the stairs with my bags. Breakfast was good although the eggs did make me feel a bit woozy after a while. There isn't much parking round the back but it was easy to find a space and there was no noise whatsoever that disturbed me. Overall 10/10 highly recommended!

All the staff we met were fantastic. The room was spotless and a good size. One of the comfiest beds we've had in a hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the B&B breakfast rate was great value. We knew the hotel restaurant was closed for evening meals when we booked (due to holidays), but the receptionist told us where to walk to for a big selection of restaurants. We found a fabulous Thai Street Food place (Zapps) so went there for two nights. We booked The Psalter for a very last minute break and found a gem. Would definitely recommend and definitely go back.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night in a suite and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Parking at the rear was one of the reasons we chose the hotel as well. The receptionist (cannot remember his name) was welcoming and pleasant and helpful for the entire stay and made us feel welcome from the start. The room was very nice and had everything we needed. The room was quiet and had a good sleep. The breakfast was lovely and nice relaxed area to eat in. If staying in Sheffield again will definitely choose the Psalter.
