Stayed last week for 4 nights in one of the 4 bedroom lodges so we were right at the back of the park. Lodge was lovely. Was quiet and peaceful. Weather ws beautiful so we just chilled most days sitting on the decking in the sunshine. Recommend the Bath Arms for something to eat which is in Cheddar Village. Not cheap though

Excellent resort. Well maintained and our lodge was stunning. The views and peacefulness were amazing. The pool was good but didnt always open as indicated but generally good. Shame the resteraunt did not cater more for people with food intolerences. But overall we had a lovely stay and would certainly stay again without doubt.

We stayed in number 49, excellent facilities in the lodge including separate freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. Rooms were spacious and everything was clean. Fantastic hot tub which we all used. Fairly close to reception. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We love the pool, and there was a lovely play area for our grand daughter. Whole area was lovely and peaceful. We were there end of September, I dont think we would stay during the summer months as it would be too busy for us. Good range of activities if you wanted things to do. Perfect location, close to lots of attractions and weston Super Mare. Only two negatives, some people were clearly not picking up after their dogs! Sunday lunch at the Bistro wasnt great. The chicken piece was dry, that was for all three of us, and my daughter said her beef was tough, so definitely not worth the price. Other than that we gad a lovely time and would definitely return

Spent a wonderful week at Cheddar Woods, the cabins were clean and well equipped for a self catering stay, including dishwasher and washing machine. We had a hot tub, which was wonderful and hot, and a fake fire place which heats up quickly. The heating and hot water was brilliant, as was the water pressure. There was a heated pool, which again was clean and open mornings and afternoon. There was walks, and Cheddar Gorge is close by. We took a walk down, but take the longer route as it has a path! The staff were friendly, it was great for kids they have a little arcade with cheap £1 rides and a playground outside the restaurant. We didn’t eat in there, but the food looked good. I recommend the fresh milk from the shop, it is delicious. It is a great location, and in beautiful woods. We will be back!

The resort was clean, tidy, well maintained. modern and had lots of activities to choose from with a full itinerary for each week that you were at the resort. The staff were friendly, helpful, the grounds were well kept and the pool was very clean throughout. There is a full itinerary of activities each week for children to early tweens (for a small fee for each) the restraint is modern and inviting and has a good varied menu. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but it was fully booked each night of our stay. However, although our lodge was spacious and the hot tubs were cleaned and maintained daily, our lodge interior did feel a bit tired, some cupboard doors did not close properly and the laminate was peeling off some, there were some dirty marks on the walls, some of the bedroom doors were damaged at the bottom and the floor was dirty on arrival and there was an obvious picture missing from the wall. The single beds were also quite flimsy, whilst the frames were thick wood, it had seen better days. i think a bit of maintenance and attention to detail would be good rather than them just being cleaned.. We were in a premier lodge, so would expect a bit more comfort and finesse. As a travel agent, i always like to give an honest opinion as these are also potential stays for my clients. Maybe we were just unlucky with ours as the reviews have been very mixed, its a shame as even though it didn't ruin our holiday, we were left a little disappointed otherwise the resort is very nice and that is evident upon arrival. otherwise, we had a good amount of privacy, it was lovely being surrounded by the woodland and the countryside and would come back again.
