Central Hall is a premier venue in the heart of Southampton that offers a variety of options for conferences, theatre and musical productions, as well as community-based events.

Based in the city centra, Central Hall’s location offers easy access for the local community, capturing the wider southern catchment area. We can offer a few a number of permits for our car park which is a 3 minute walk away. There are 2 close car parks for attendees to any event: College Street Car Park and East Street Car Park. Both are about a 5-7 minute walk from us. We are a 15-20 minute walk from Southampton Central Station.
Our first-class facilities ensure the perfect setting for a whole host of events, and provides high-quality spaces and services on hand. With dedicated staff available, we take care of your needs, from technical support right through to catering and everything in-between.

We can provide services for any number, from small intimate gatherings right through to bigger events. Our 750-seater capacity Main Hall has big screen projection and superior sound quality which will guarantee your guests’ high satisfaction, whilst our 180-person capacity Small Hall can host small functions with both audio and visual requirements.

Please Note: Our bookings are for corporate meetings and conferences and entertainment events at this time. We are not taking private party bookings

Our Main Hall has a large tiered stage which can be further extended with a lower deck creating a multi-level experience. It has tiered seating for 650 people and further floor seating for 100 creating a capacity of 750. The large 14ft x 8ft backlit screen and fully functional PA system and lighting rigs makes the auditorium an ideal space for your company conference or meeting.
Perfect also for comedy shows, music events, "evening with" style events, product launches, company summits, promotions, movie previews or live screenings.
