Had a great time staying at the Fairmont St Andrews in July 2025. Angela at the front desk was welcoming and courteous and gave us an upgrade due to Accor status. Sean at the bar areas did a superb job along with his staff members. The location is awesome and breakfast buffet was very good as well. We enjoyed the walks on the resort grounds, played soccer in the back and enjoyed the large pool as well. The only issue we had was a constant banging sound kept coming during the day from the top floor shaking our room for 2- days and the duty manager did not address it even after we brought this to their attention. Expected better from them as we have stayed at Fairmont in Canada, US and Saudi Arab and never had an issue. Overall, still worth it due to staff’s attention to detail. The Pro shop had good selection and we over indulged in buying hats and golf apparel.

Had such a lovely overnight stay. The staff from the get go were so accommodating and friendly. The food at the Italian restaurant was great, decent portions too and options. Used the spa and really enjoyed the relaxing. The breakfast buffet was probably the best I’ve been to. Will definitely return.

I had been wanting to visit the Fairmont for a very long time so when it was my birthday it was the perfect opportunity for such a treat. I was made to feel so special & it was very much appreciated. Every single staff member that I encountered from calling direct to book to the staff at the door & on reception to the waiters, waitresses & managers they are all exceptional in their role. It was really great that they cater for families as our young daughter is a non negotiable when we go away. We had the pleasure of experiencing the afternoon tea & we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We had dinner later in the evening in the grill & again couldn’t fault it. We had a fabulous breakfast in the morning too. Excellent choice. We got the chance to enjoy the leisure facilities in the morning thanks to a 12 o’clock check out. The room had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Thank you for a memorable stay we will most certainly be back.

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Great Spa staff who were attentive and professional from reception to therapists. Lovely setting with a relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel. The food was very good with a fine selection at breakfast also . Our room was nice, however the bed was a bit softer than I’m used to. Lovely toiletries were available to use if needed. Tea, coffee and snacks were topped up daily. We stayed there as it was close to our son’s wedding venue and the hotel arranged transport for us. The one negative and extremely disappointing event was that our son had arranged to have some surprise ‘treat’ sent to our room. This did not happen and it was so disappointing for him and then us when we realised this. We did receive an apology but this was at checkout. We stayed for three nights and he had arranged this on the day we arrived.

We had a really lovely stay. When booking, I dealt with Katherine from the reservations team and she was such a delight — so friendly, helpful, and she went the extra mile to make my partner’s birthday feel special. The room and service were great, and we really enjoyed our time. The only downside was the spa, which felt a little underwhelming. There weren’t enough loungers and the space didn’t feel fully maximised. Overall though, a wonderful stay — and a big thank you to Katherine for making the booking experience extra special!
