About Venue
Sandon Hall is set in 400 acres of rolling parkland and offers the perfect venue for a wedding. Couples enjoy exclusive use and can celebrate their day free from any distractions – it really is yours for the day!
The rooms can be used in a variety of ways. The oak-panelled Library is ideal for ceremonies, with guests then being able to enjoy drinks and canapés in the Victorian Conservatory. The 50-acre gardens abound with photograph opportunities and guests are welcome to take a stroll or just sit and soak up the atmosphere.
The Saloon provides an opulent setting for the wedding breakfast. The bride and groom can make a grand entrance down the main stairs to rapturous applause, surely a memory that will last forever. Guests can enjoy high-quality food before partying the night away.
For smaller groups, the Old Dining Room, with portraits of previous generations of the Harrowby family, offers an ideal setting for a ceremony. Offering fine views of the gardens, it is also perfect for an intimate dinner.
The Hall has featured in 'Don't Tell The Bride' the popular BBC3 show in which the groom and best man have to plan every aspect of the wedding as a complete surprise for the bride. The groom chose a 'Pride and Prejudice' themed wedding for his bride who, after wondering what sort of wedding she would be given, was elated when she saw the Hall and the day was a huge success.
Our emphasis is on flexibility and every wedding at Sandon Hall is unique and truly memorable.

Wow – what a venue! We had our wedding here on 25th July 2025 and we can not praise it enough. From the moment we first saw Sandon Hall, we were completely blown away. We just knew nothing else would ever compare. We were lucky enough to get married in the Temple Gardens on a warm summer’s day, and it was absolutely magical, the setting couldn’t have been more beautiful. A HUGE thank you to Nicola, our coordinator and absolute angel throughout the whole journey. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and she made wedding planning feel easy and stress-free. The day ran so smoothly and perfectly, and it was all thanks to her. From planning every detail to the minute and keeping everything running on time, to whizzing up in the golf buggy with jugs of water to keep us cool and hydrated as we were having our photos taken. She truly went above and beyond. She is such a credit to Sandon Hall, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without her. We also want to say a big thank you to Melissa, who was also there on the day along with Nicola, and made sure we had everything we needed. We felt so looked after by both Melissa and Nicola. It's safe to say we felt like the guests of honour at our wedding, rather than the hosts. Exactly how it should be. We didn't need to think about a thing, just enjoy ourselves, and oh wow, we did! Sandon Hall is not only a breathtaking venue, but it's also so well run. The building is immaculate, the gardens are flawless, and the whole experience was everything we dreamed of and more. We can’t wait to find an excuse to come back!

As a wedding photographer, Sandon Hall is a fantastic venue to work with. The whole day runs really smoothly thanks to a well organised team who clearly know what they are doing. One thing that really stands out is how they use golf buggies to get around the grounds. It might sound small but it makes a huge difference and gives couples more time during their portraits, without feeling rushed. It rained during our couples session and my couple were so well looked after, being given blankets and umbrellas, so we could still brave the outdoors. The house itself is beautiful and full of character with plenty of stunning spots for photos both inside and out. The conservatory is especially beautiful for the ceremony, filled with natural light and offering a lovely bright setting. The grounds are extensive and perfectly maintained, offering a variety of backdrops to suit every style. Sandon Hall is a brilliant choice if you want a wedding day that feels both relaxed but also very grand and elegant. You can't go wrong when there's such a brilliant team on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly. The food is excellent too.

We have had the pleasure of shooting at this gorg venue a few times and we absolutely love it! Not to mention how beautiful the venue is, but the staff are also lovely! The venue is versatile meaning you can get married outside or in the beautiful conservatory area. So many amazing photo opportunities! Food is always 10/10 too and they treat us so well as suppliers! Couldn’t recommend this venue enough and we visit a lot throughout the year! ☺️

My eldest son had his wedding here. The staff were marvelous. Sandon Hall and gardens were a perfect setting for a very beautiful day. Food great. Ice cream on tap for a hot Summers day. Roulette and Black Jack activities great fun before cutting the cake, first dance and disco.
