Had a great stay at Stoke by Nayland. The breakfast was excellent, and a big shoutout to Giuseppe, who went above and beyond, not only did he let me borrow his lighter for the evening, but he also made a thoughtful announcement at breakfast to celebrate my friend who was getting married. It was a really nice touch. The grounds are beautiful, perfect for a morning stroll, and the spa is a great way to unwind. Also, thanks to Tom, who helped quickly and professionally with a reservation issue I had. Really appreciated the service all around. Would happily stay again.

Visited for a one night weekend away after we got married. Used our Tesco vouchers which made it a very cheap weekend away. Staff even gave us a voucher for a free drink to celebrate our wedding. Place is absolutely gorgeous, and staff are very attentive and friendly. We used the pool and spa, which were amazing and very looked after. Beautiful scenery. Food was great, would definitely stay again!

Can be a bit tricky to get to depending on traffic. Reasonable food at a good price well attended. Rooms were spacious and air conditioned. Brilliant service and helpful staff. The front desk receptionist was pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Went the extra to help. The sports bar staff kept going while being extremely busy and having workmen doing electrical repairs. Such composure. I highly recommend visiting and staying here. Both golf courses (Gainsborough and Constable) were in good condition considering the heat and dry weather.

Stayed here last week for a 1 night golf break and had a fantastic time - cannot fault it in any way. I booked the offer via YourGolfTravel which was a breeze, allocating requested tee times and accessed via their handy app. The facilities and the service at the hotel were second to none. Nice big comfortable rooms, with modern bathroom and big TV. Reception staff were friendly and helpful upon check in. Service by Bar and restaurant staff was friendly and super attentive. Was particularly impressed by the 3 course dinner and the wine list was great too. The golf courses are in great condition and both courses were challenging and visually impressive with beautiful scenery. Will certainly be booking again for a return trip next year. Cheers!

What great value for money. We traveled up there as a group of four, on a Sunday saver golfing deal. Two rounds of golf, one on each course, three course meal, and a full English breakfast £200pp. The hotel room was really nice, modern, clean, with a fantastic shower. The three course meal was much better than I was expecting, served in a lovely restaurant with very attentive waiting staff. The breakfast was also very good, served buffet style using good quality produce. We all found the Constable course the better of the two, with better tee boxes and layout. The only slight downside was the driving range being nowhere near the first tee boxes, and you can't drive the buggy to it. So you need to put your clubs back in the car, drive up to the range, do your stuff, reload the car, drive back and then try and park for a second time. The second day we just used the warm-up nets near the first tee. All in all a very nice trip, and fantastic value for money given the standard of the room and quality of the food.
