December 2024I have just left the Barnett Hill hotel, I'm currently still in the car park and I just had to leave a review right away. We came today to have a champagne afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday. The food was lovely the deserts were festive, creative and delicious but the show stopper to the whole experience was without a doubt the staff! Every single staff member we spoke to was happy, polite, fun and couldn't do enough to help in any way. Afternoon tea at the Barnett Hill is an absolute delight, we will definitely be back and recommending.

November 2024I recently enjoyed afternoon tea here with a friend, and it was an incredible experience! I had the gluten and dairy-free setup, and it was honestly the most delicious I’ve ever had. Every item was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The attention to detail and quality of the ingredients really stood out. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly, making it a truly memorable visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a wonderful, allergy-friendly afternoon tea experience!

December 2024We had a lovely stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and modern. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, highly recommended a walk around on a nice day. We didn’t dine in the restaurant due to a prior engagement, we did however enjoy the bar and afternoon tea which is a lovely experience.

November 2024Just missing Basil Fawlty Booked the comfy king room, breakfast and dinner package. Was given a budget double and when I returned to reception to inform them it was not the room I had booked they doubled down on it and assured me it was a comfy king room. Only when showing the pics of the room on their website would they move me. Dining room was freezing, they had to bring blankets and a heater in to sort it out. Lentils were undercooked in the soup and the beef was like rubber and couldn't be cut with my knife so had to send it back. Staff were friendly but probably not being given the required support from the management. then when I retired to sleep my room was not soundproofed and I could hear the neighbours taking and showering until late. Shame, as the building and gardens are amazing. Suggest the Alexander collection pack in hospitality.
