Crowne Plaza Felbridge-gatwick, Sycamore & Mulberry Suite

We were only there overnight but had a very pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and courteous, the room was spacious and clean, and a bonus was the small spa area with indoor pool and sauna. A good choice of overnight hotel if you have an early flight from Gatwick.

I had a very enjoyable stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, perfect for a relaxing break. The highlight was the spa — the facilities were excellent. The pool, sauna, and steam room were clean and peaceful, ideal for unwinding. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I would definitely return for a relaxing weekend getaway.

I booked this hotel direct online as the reviews were good and the price was ok, about average for the area if a little overpriced. I called and spoke to Clarice who was friendly and most helpful in noting my room requests. On arrival I was greeted warmly by Helen who very kindly upgraded my room and was friendly and helpful during my whole stay. I had a small issue on arrival and Jimmy the manager went above and beyond to try and help me sort this. Emma on reception was also very pleasant. I must say the staff at this hotel are some of the best I have ever encountered and I travel a lot. Everyone I met was polite, friendly and happy to help, the staff here are the absolute highlight. The room I had was spacious and nicely furnished however it was quite dark, I needed the lamp on the whole time which gives you an idea, however I was not overlooked and I had trees outside which were pleasant to look at. I heard no noise at all from the outside of the hotel it was very quiet but inside the hotel I found the corridors to be noisy, slamming doors etc but this wasn't a major problem just the usual inconsiderate guests you get at hotels sometimes, especially early morning/late at night quiet hours should be advised. The room has air conditioning which for me is essential for a good nights sleep during the summer months. Also plenty of USB ports around the bed which makes things easier. Lots of free parking just remember to register your car reg on arrival. There is a fridge, iron and tea/coffee facilities in the room which is really useful for a comfortable stay. They even provide biscuits and still/sparkling water which is a lovely touch. The Wi-Fi is excellent and it is sort of smart tv which is good but sadly wasn't possible to get Netflix, not a big problem but I do think they should look to resolve this. The shower is hot and powerful with a beautiful bath, the bathroom is spacious. The room was clean but a few areas needed a bit more attention especially around the windows with insects, a few webs etc but the rest of the room was immaculate. There is no lift so bear this in mind however on check out a lovely gentleman from reception assisted with my luggage which was really appreciated. The gym is ok but could be better, the indoor pool, sauna, steam, hot tub area is very nice and I enjoyed using these facilities. They have a lovely bar and nice restaurant area with nice decor and a cosy ambience. All in all a great hotel with fantastic staff. I had a lovely stay and would stay again and recommend to colleagues, family and friends. Thank you to all who made me feel so welcome and helped to make my stay so lovely.
