A unique country house hotel in Surrey
Woodlands Park Hotel in Cobham, Surrey, near Leatherhead and Cobham, was originally commissioned by English industrialist William Bryant, son of the founder of the match company Bryant and May. Built in 1885, the house was a modern marvel and one of the first in the UK to have electric light. Over a century on, the house remains as impressive as ever.
Situated near to Cobham and within easy access of London, this 57 bedroom hotel is set in landscaped grounds and gardens, making our hotel one of the most perfect wedding venues in Surrey. Offering a range of classic and executive bedrooms and suites, Woodlands Park has a choice of bedrooms to suit everyone.
It has two great restaurants: the wood panelled Oak Room and the more contemporary Bensons Restaurant. The hotel also boasts excellent conference facilities as well as being the perfect training and meeting venue in Surrey.
A self-contained space with natural daylight, ideal for board meetings or as a break out area. A well laid out bright meeting room with its own entrance and adjacent cloakroom facilities. Frequently used as a syndicate room for the Prince of Wales Suite or as a cocktail reception area due to its intergrated bar.

October 2024This is the 4th time we have stayed here. The first being 20 years ago when my now husband was trying to impress me. Luckily for my husband, I had stayed with him on previous visits as the receptionist said "welcome back" and the form listed his previous reg, that could have got someone in trouble 🤣 . The staff are always really welcoming. The rooms are always clean and have everything you need (except enough chairs to eat when ordering room service), towels big enough to actually wrap yourself in. Robes and slippers and teas and coffee in room. We didn't use the fancy coffee machine as it looked a bit scary. The food is always amazing. We usually would eat in the more formal of the 2 restaurants which is expensive but worth it, however this time I wasn't feeling very well so we ordered food to the room. Arrived quickly and was extremely hot still. One salmon bagel one fish and triple cooked chips. Unfortunately the chips weren't triple cooked as they were still raw in the middle, possibly because they were so chunky so they were left, but everything else was great. Friendly check out too.

November 2024Had my wedding at Woodlands Park this November, the service was great and the staff were fantastic. We made use of the Prince of Wales suite with our guests and had a wonderful breakfast the next day. They really know what they are doing and I highly recommend this venue

October 2024We spent a night at this hotel for our wedding anniversary. It was absolutely amazing, from the lovely reception staff (Aisha in particular) to the dinner, the room and everything in-between. We have been very lucky to stay at many hand picked hotels, we even got married at one, but this just stood out as being the best stay we have had anywhere in a long time. The food was just incredible, the service was exceptional, and the room was stunning. We are going to book again soon for a weekend with our children as we had such a wonderful time. We can't wait to return.

November 2024We held the wake for my dear Dad here at the Sitting Room function space. I liaised with Emma to get this arranged and she ensured everything we requested was in place, she even popped down to see us on the day. We were in the care of Jay and Adina on the day who ensured all of us were well looked after, topping up anything needed or showing guests where the facilities were. The afternoon tea buffet was a delight so much so I'd like to come back for an afternoon tea. Thanks putting on a wonderful afternoon for my Dad.

October 2024We enjoyed afternoon tea at the hotel, and it was amazing! The restaurant is very cozy, and the staff was superb. When booking, I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, and they made it special by greeting us with birthday wishes and a beautiful 'Happy Birthday' plate. The food was lovely, and we couldn’t finish all the cakes, so we got to take them home in a box. We couldn’t recommend this place and their afternoon tea more!
