About Venue

Set in eight acres of picturesque Green Flag award winning grounds, Field Place Manor House provides an elegant backdrop for your big day. Managed by Southdowns Leisure our team at Field Place strive to provide your perfect day, in every way.

The Grade II listed Manor House features its original Georgian façade. With two fully licensed converted Barns, we are approved for both Civil Marriages and Partnerships, allowing you the opportunity to hold your ceremony and wedding reception with us.  The Chichester Room is licenced for up to 80 guests and the Lewes Room for up to 50 guests, both of which overlook the picturesque grounds. Our two flint and tiled barns, built in the 1800’s boast magnificent high beamed ceilings. Both barns have excellent natural light with windows on each side. Each have their own fully equipped bar, and their own dedicated facilities.

The Barn, situated north-south has double door glass alcoves on each side, making it a light and airy space. The Barn has a working stage, where your entertainment can set up ready for the evening celebrations. The Barn is topped with a clock turret over the centre; and has capacity to sit up to 100 guests. The Pavilion Barn, situated east-west, has a north side of flint, and a pan tiled roof; with casement windows on each side. Its sloping roof provides a covered terrace area overlooking the Green; and has capacity to comfortably sit up to 70 guests.

Our sole caterers are Hardings Catering, who began a very successful partnership with us at the beginning of 2017. Hardings provide all the food & beverage facility here; creating fantastic food and providing exceptional service to ensure you have the best possible experience on your Wedding Day. 

They have a wide selection of menus and can cater for all walks of life, and plenty of ideas to help you make your wedding unique to you. Their package prices include all equipment hire, table linen, choice of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, full waiting staff service throughout your chosen wedding breakfast, as well as the management and service of all aspects of your wedding reception through to the end of your event.

With ample parking for over 100 cars, a complimentary children’s park and play area, WIFI and with full accessibility access Field Place Manor House has it all. You can expect a personalised service from our whole team ensuring your wedding day is a day to remember forever.
