I had a glass of their house ale, served nicely chilled and rich in taste. The setting was easygoing, with both locals and tourists enjoying the warm, welcoming space. Whether indoors or out in the garden, it’s an ideal place to relax and enjoy some downtime.

If you're looking for just a bed its ok. Outdated though. Take your own towels if you want a shower. If you're going to go out for the night, take an extension lead for hairdryer/straighteners etc. Our room had a mirror screwed to wall no where near plugs and too high for me to see. No full length mirror either. So very difficult to get ready to go out. Bed comfy though. Tv in room but lots of drill holes behind it. Very hot room as at top with no window opening but fans were provided.

has to be the worst place i have ever stayed in ! i am down here for work so went out in the eve for food as they don’t do food i came back and went to bed only to be woken up by some idiot walking into my room when i was asleep demanding money for the room ! this was totally unacceptable no matter what ! i was tired and was going to pay the morning after ! To have someone openly walk in the room is a total farce and he wasn’t even staff i am guessing he was the husband of the woman running the bar that night ! A TOTAL AVOIDANCE IN THIS ONE SORRY TO SAY ! other than this bloke was ok
