About Venue

The Shire is a wellness-led events and offsite venue set within 150 acres of parkland, lakes, and woodland in the Northamptonshire countryside. Just an hour from London Euston, and equidistant from Milton Keynes and Northampton, it offers a true sense of escape without the travel.

We host company offsites, leadership retreats, workshops, strategy sessions, private dinners, and product events. Our spaces are recently restored and thoughtfully designed, ranging from a large open event room with a walled garden and terrace, to a boardroom set within a Georgian farmhouse, alongside multiple outdoor gathering spots.

We'd love to hear about what you're planning! As a small team we work really hard to respond to enquiries quickly and our Head of Events is on hand to have a call with you from the first stage to support you with bringing your event to life.

Our meeting room sits within Grafton House, the restored farmhouse at the heart of The Shire. Filled with natural light and overlooking the parkland, it’s one of our favourite spaces on the retreat.

The room seats up to 20 people around two reclaimed 4-metre oak tables. It’s fully equipped with an 86” screen and Logitech Rally Bar, providing seamless plug-and-play video conferencing for hybrid meetings. The fit-out is calm, refined, and finished with quality materials throughout.

A private breakout area adjoins the room, complete with kitchenette, coffee machine, capsules, refreshments, and snacks — all included.

Guests are welcome to explore 150 acres of parkland and walking trails between sessions, offering a genuine reset from the usual meeting room environment.
