Really friendly family run hotel and restaurant. We stayed for our anniversary and were not disappointed. Even though the venue is a great wedding venue, non wedding guests don't feel second class. We would highly recommend!

Great stay with the family. Super friendly staff who welcomed us, after a delayed flight, at 3am still with a smile and genuine care. Excellent breakfast. Location is perfect in a calm location yet walking distance from Usk center.

The Most Beautiful Hotel I have Ever stayed in. The whole experience from arriving to Leaving was Amazing Every member of Staff were so polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble The Rooms.....My room was Incredible Spotlessly Clean, Wonderful comfortable Bed+Pillows! Tea tray refreshed every day. The Breakfast was out of this world! I honestly have never eaten so well anywhere else ,but here it was like being treated like Royalty. Exceptional service đ Overall I can't thank them enough for making my stay so lovely and I can't wait to return âșïž

Attended a big family lunch here, we were very well looked after, great catering team. Wonderful grounds and common rooms for toddlers to roam in. The food was not exactly fine dining but standard fare for most. Unfortunately the vegetarian selection was limited, the nut roast was very dry and tasted suspiciously like Paxo sage and onion stuffing. Sadly no roast potatoes, just boiled and chips for all.

I visited here for my grandparentsâ 60th wedding anniversary party last week. The location is very easy to access and has plenty of parking available. The building itself is lovely as youâd expect, both inside and out. The staff were fantastic too, they did a great job setting up for the party and sorting out food, cake, and the tables etc. Iâd definitely recommend the Glen Yr Afon for any events if youâre based in the local area!
