About Venue
Daytona Tamworth is the Midland's finest outdoor go-karting venue, with a 1,000 metre track set in the rolling hills of Staffordshire. A short drive from Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Derby and Nottingham, it's the perfect venue for corporate away days, client hospitality, Christmas and summer parties as well as childrens Birthday parties.
With delicious on-site catering, modern conferencing facilities and a large outdoor spectator area, Daytona Tamworth is suitable for parties of all sizes. We have two fleets of go-karts for adults - 50mph 4-stroke karts - which we would recommend for the majority of mixed-ability corporate bookings, and 70mph 2-stroke karts - the DMAX-GT - the fastest go-karts in the UK.
The venue has an upstairs large modern conference room with a spectator view of the track. Comes with AV facilities, WiFi, and multiple seating layouts.

Our children’s party packages include 20 minutes of track time on our 500m Indy Circuit, followed by a post race medal presentation on our podium, and 25 minutes exclusive decking hire. With a minimum age of 8 years and no maximum age, parents and older siblings can join in on the fast fun, so no one misses out.

Fast track with grippy tyres and a great team to get you up and running, we had exclusive 10 mins qualifying then direct to reverse grid 20 mins race. Fabulous fun threading the eye of the needle of the first corner then the chicane to the far corner 🏎️

I paid for a group of 5 to do the 40 minute endurance race. There was a ten minute qualifying session with no break before the race. Sadly we were all mixed in with others who clearly go regularly and had their own gear. The circuit / format is not suited to groups of mixed ability to the extent we experienced. In fact, if you are reasonably fast it is worse because the faster drivers will simply punt you off the tract to get past. All five of us experienced this. Additionally I had a puncture which got to the point where I couldn't steer the car effectively and had to retire with five minutes to go. I suspect it was below pressure from the onset as I was the only driver not to improve in the race.
