About Venue
Reddish Vale was designed in 1912 by the World famous golf course architect Dr Alister MacKenzie and is the most interesting and spectacular golf course in the whole Manchester area. The layout attracts attention and reviews from leading course architects worldwide including Tom Doak. It sits within an urban area, relatively undiscovered, and so secluded from the outside world... within the M60 motorway and only 5 miles from the centre of Manchester.
We have a relaxed atmosphere, easy access, loads of free car parking and we are open 365 days a year. If you need a venue for a Christening, Wedding, Anniversary or special occasion Reddish Vale is an excellent choice.

We booked our annual Christmas Eve round of golf here this year as the course looked great and we had heard it was a lovely course. Considering the time of year, rainfall, winter tees etc. in play, the course was genuinely immaculate. The bunkers in particular given the time of year, were genuinely like playing in the summer. Once we completed the round, we went into the clubhouse where we were chatting with guests and members alike and were made to feel very welcome. A gentleman who had hit a hole-in-one on the day offered as a dram of whiskey to celebrate his achievement, which was a really nice touch. Genuinely a brilliant, challenging, well maintained course which has a welcoming culture to players of varying abilities. A genuine rarity these days which is sad, but great to see a course being managed properly by everybody involved. Thanks again for having us.
