Fantastic place to stay, rooms were huge and very comfortable, breakfast was also great, lots of choice and cooked to perfection. The swimming pool and spa area was spacious and clean. The stand out part were the staff, the chap on reception was so helpful and welcoming, really makes the stays so much better. Will definitely return

The junior suite was very large, the bed was very comfortable, the air con was excellent. The best part however has to be the spa, the pool is lovely and the whole experience was just wonderful. £10 per person for the entire stay is an absolute bargain, the staff at the hotel and spa were very friendly, Ben from the spa in particular was a gentleman. Loads of parking too. We had a normal burger from the restaurant and took it to our room and it was delicious. Another nice touch was that if you stay more than one night and use the same towels to help the environment (you get a tag to hang on your door) you get £5 off the bar/restaurant which was good. The place was very clean and there was a lovely walk for our dog if you go outside the gate, turn left and 20 meters up the road go right into the woods up a tiny mud mound and it goes into a huge enclosed nature walk. All in all, I definitely recommend this place and the price was very reasonable and the staff were excellent. Nothing that I didn't like but a suggestion really. It would be nice to have a mini fridge, we were in the middle of a heatwave but even an empty one just to put your own water bottles or cans would have made it perfect. I was desperate for an ice cold drink when in the room.

Exceptional stay at Sketchley Grange and so much so we came back again this month. The junior suites are huge, clean, very comfortable beds and they have tea/coffee facilities along with a hair dryer. The shower is great and the bath was so deep I felt like I had a real soak. The staff are all exceptional and couldn’t do enough for you to include the lovely Adam, who helped me with a diabetic hypo and he was amazing with me, Joshua, Jacob and the lovely Jasmine in the restaurant who always serves with a beaming smile. All of the named staff were so friendly and forthcoming and made our stay so enjoyable. The Spa was heaven, swimming, jacuzzi, steam room and a sauna with free towels from the lovely staff on the Spa reception. The food in the restaurant was incredible, we had the hot steak salad with a vegetable medley, mixed grill and two starters we had never had before which were amazing too. The furnishings are lovely and clean with so much space inside and out to relax and recharge your batteries. I will be back again soon. Thank you for everything.

We chose to book a last minute overnight spa break somewhere local on Booking.com, and this place came up. It was very busy due to a big wedding on both Saturday and Sunday. However, this didn't impact on our stay. Their part of the Hotel was separate to where the rest of us dined. Great room, spacious , but we were given a room that facilitates a disabled person. This was due to how busy the hotel was Our bathroom was a wet room, and the shower wasn't great, but our bedroom was great. The bed was firm but comfortable and we slept really well. The Spa was also great, Hot tub, sauna, steam room and really nice swimming pool. You could order snacks and drinks in there. In the restaurant for our evening meal, the food menu was good, and I'd say there was something on there for everyone's food taste. We had a Waiter named Connor, he was brilliant, friendly and funny, but did his job well. The staff in every area of the Hotel where lovely, and all worked very hard. Plenty of car parking spaces. We will definitely return again as we came away feeling we had a great time and totally recharged out batteries.

Sketchley Grange Hotel, Hinckley: A Functional Stay with Standout Staff Our recent stay at Sketchley Grange Hotel in Hinckley, England, offered a generally functional experience, well-suited for its primary purpose of hosting functions and seminars. The hotel itself is quite expansive, featuring large rooms, a pool, a bar, and a restaurant, all of which serve their purpose adequately. While the decor and facilities do feel a bit dated in places, they are certainly serviceable for a comfortable stay. A definite highlight of our visit was the staff. Every member we encountered was exceptionally nice, friendly, and incredibly accommodating to our needs. Their willingness to assist and their warm demeanor truly made a positive impact on our experience. However, there were a couple of issues that impacted our stay. Unfortunately, the flush in our room's toilet was broken from the moment we checked in and remained so throughout our entire visit. We hope this is something that can be addressed promptly for future guests. Additionally, we had an unexpected 3:00 AM fire alarm go off, which was certainly an "experience" – though we were, of course, glad to confirm that the alarm system is fully functional! Overall, Sketchley Grange provides a practical base, particularly for those attending events. With its excellent staff, it has a strong foundation, and a few maintenance updates would undoubtedly enhance the guest experience further.
