I had a week long stay at the Gray Manor Hotel whilst working nearby. It was fantastic. Decent breakfasts, nice bar and restaurant for dinner so I didn't have to go out foraging after a long day. But the most important thing was the staff couldn't have been friendlier. They were brilliant.

Beautiful hotel very quirky & interesting. All staff are really attentive especially jason & Suzanne. We asked to change room due to a few issues. We were offered a choice of 2 rooms. This is a dog friendly hotel, we choose the hotel for that reason. We stayed 3 nights b.fast was value for money. We tried chicken curry first night. Good choice of evening meals, value for money. Drinks great prices for the area. We loved both the pooches are princess tilly loved them too!!! Looking forward to returning as such a beautiful relaxing stay. Reserve double jacuzzi bath for me.

I have stayed in many hotels over the years, but never in my life have I been so grossed out as I was at Gray Manor Hotel in Salisbury. Our room was filthy. The carpets were badly stained and looked like they hadn’t been deep-cleaned in years. The coffee mugs were still dirty from the previous guests, with brown residue inside. The walls were splattered with what looked disturbingly like blood or bodily fluids. The bathroom… I’m including a photo because words fail. Mould, grime, crumbling sealant – just disgusting. We had booked breakfast for two mornings but skipped the second day entirely. Why? Because on the first morning: 1. The tablecloths were stained, 2. the salt pot was so greasy I didn’t even want to touch it, 3. and when we poured water into our glasses, food particles floated in it. It was beyond unhygienic. I can’t believe this place is allowed to operate as a hotel. It felt more like a neglected roadside hostel. To be fair, the staff were very friendly and the location is peaceful. But those are the only positives I can mention. Cleanliness is non-negotiable – and Gray Manor failed on every level.
