We recently stayed at your hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The next morning, we happily set off on our journey, but a few hours later we received a phone call from the hotel informing us that our jewellery box had been left in the room. Inside were my gold and pearl necklaces and other valuable items. Thanks to the honesty and professionalism of your staff — especially the housekeeping team — everything was kept safe and returned to us exactly as we left it, even after a month. We are truly impressed by the integrity, kindness, and excellent service we experienced. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, and a special appreciation to the room cleaner who found and secured our belongings. This level of honesty and care is rare, and it will always be remembered. We will definitely recommend your hotel to our friends and family, and we look forward to staying with you again in the future. Karadeniz Family

A gorgeous hotel that is tucked away in the hills of Limpley Stoke, 15 mins outside of Bath. My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and had an overall lovely stay, the staff at reception were lovely and the room itself was cosy and comfortable with a gorgeous view! The only downside was the shower would make an annoying high pitch noise after being turned on, but apart from that there weren't any faults with the room. A fan was also provided which was greatly appreciated during peak summer! If you're happy to drive into Bath or get a taxi, then I would recommend this hotel!

Basic and good for one night and or cheaper than staying in central Bath. Great pictures on the wall, and delightful views from the grounds. Would not want to stay in room 100 ground floor right by the bar. Lacking warmth and atmosphere though, however functions ok. Place a little dated, but for the price it's fine.

Not the hotel if you are disabled - there are stairs everywhere and the staff are quite happy to watch you struggle and offer no help. It is in the middle of nowhere with really steep and I mean steep narrow twisty roads the driveway up to the hotel is only wide enough for 1 car and really steep without enough space at the top or bottom to line your car up to safely drive there is only 1 disabled space in the car park and good luck trying to get parking if they are hosting a wedding. When you arrive you are bombarded with demands to state what time you will breakfast and what time you want the room serviced - ridiculous when you find the breakfast is self serve buffet and it makes no difference when you eat. The only positive about the hotel is the food they serve is really good. While there is a lift to the upper floors there are lots of stairs to get to the rooms. When I booked I did so based on the photos of a spacious twin room with walk in shower as shown on the website - what we got was no bigger than a prison cell with small single beds - nowhere to relax in the room the beds were uncomfortable with thin cheap duvets and pillows and really awkward to move around with mobility issues - every time anyone in the other rooms closed the door it made our door rattle as the handle did not go down to close the door quietly - the curtains did not cover the window properly so as soon as it was daylight the room was flooded with light making sleep impossible the bed faced the door and light from the hallway shone in I did not get a decent nights sleep the whole stay - every time you opened the door an annoying alarm went off so no chance of leaving the room quietly - the ensuite faced both beds so if you needed to use it during the night the light switch was outside the door so you had no choice but to turn the light on with the door open which shone into the room with the noise of the extractor fan going on so you would wake the other person sharing the room- there was no where in the bathroom to hold wash bags and cheap nasty plastic take away cups for brushing your teeth with - the shower was over the bath with no nonslip mat and no bars to assist getting in and out of so I wasn't able to shower and had to personal wash in a tiny space at the sink - the hot water only had either tepid or scalding as the options - it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I will be requesting my money back
