Here every year on the same Saturday, the revamp was a pleasant shock. And we absolutely loveddddd the food. Plenty of it and managed to take left overs with us. Amazing atmosphere very polite and welcoming staff.

Don’t hesitate to book this place for a lovely meal, great service and beautifully decorated pub. We had always gone to pubs directly in the town centre, and overlooked coming here, but since the renovations we thought we’d give it a go, and we were really impressed with the quality of the food, prices and friendliness of the team here.

We booked the Roebuck for a family meal, Sunday lunchtime. We were a table of 7 and between us, we had roast beef, chicken and pork and a vegetarian nut wellington. Massive homemade Yorkshire pudding!!! The food was piping hot when it arrived, plentiful in size and delicious. We decided we had a small space for a dessert and weren’t disappointed! Despite the pub being fully booked, our service was really good, very attentive staff and no complaints at all. Would highly recommend the pub for food and will be back. Thank you for looking after us.
