This is a great resource for those involved in home-building. Whilst it's impossible for any one source to be totally all-comprehensive, it offers a great opportunity to examine a wide range of building resources that may be appropriate, even if one has to carry out further research elsewhere. and all in a great environment with decent parking, easy to find, good loos and a very reasonably priced cafe. Above all, there is absolutely NO commercial pressure applied to the visitor. Highly recommended.

I have come here twice as I’m renovating my house. It is very easy to get to and park. A nice welcome and a lot of exhibits which I think are often ‘leading edge’ products and solutions rather than ‘mainstream’, so are very thought provoking. I came to a workshop day which was quite busy and the experts were very good and helped a lot. A nice cafe and area, but quite cold, so bring a top with you. Whatever, I recommend that you do come and view the products and services available if you are looking to do a major bit of building work…

A large number of exhibitors uniformly engaging with courtesy, knowledge and respect for someone researching their own project. I identified at least four exhibitors with whom I will very likely engage with again in future, I made product information requests from at least two dozen exhibitors and I even came across some new technologies that I had never come across at previous visits to similar exhibitions elsewhere in the country. The centre is located extremely conveniently just off the M4, making it easily accessible for those with motorised transport. A very worthwhile experience which I can recommend to others thinking about the possibility of their own self-build or renovation project.
