About Venue
‘The Snooty’ is all that a quintessential English inn should be.
Indulge in classically styled bedrooms that are truly unique, where the furniture combines antique with contemporary chic and with stylings to complement the individuality of each room.
Its 12 bedrooms are intimate and stylish, while its ground floor boasts a very popular bar and restaurant. British food and an excellent wine list complete the picture.
Tetbury with its royal heritage, is ideal for browsing for antiques and exploring the local area.
We believe that local produce when cooked creatively is the heart of a good restaurant and that's just what we do at the The Snooty Fox. It’s one of the great things about being in the Cotswolds – we’ve got so many brilliant local producers to work with that we’re spoilt for choice. That means you will be too.
'The Snooty' is located at the heart of this bustling market town and is a popular destination for many locals and day visitors to the area. The bar offers a tempting range or real ales, local ciders and a selection of Ports, Cognacs, Calvados and Armagnac's all personally selected by the Manager.

Just returned home from a two night stay at the Snooty Fox. Great location, all of the staff we had contact with were very friendly and helpful, the room was great and food in the evening and at breakfast were high quality and perfectly cooked. Can't wait to return

Went their for a Sunday lunch the day before my wedding. We'd originally booked for a large group, but due to a family emergency, only half the group could attend. The staff were extremely understanding, and still made us feel welcome and provided a wonderful experience.

We often visit town and this time chose The Snooty Fox for lunch which is a pub and hotel serving lunch and dinner. It’s dog-friendly in the bar area, which suited us perfectly and there were some veggie options which was fine for us. We ordered a cheeseboard and cheese and pickle sandwiches with chips, and coffees. The food arrived quickly (within 10 minutes), was warm, well presented, and delicious. The bar was spotless, spacious, and relaxed, with a quirky charm that made it very welcoming. A special mention to Angie, the manager, whose warmth and charisma set the tone and the team clearly run things very well, and we felt looked after from start to finish. One note: there is a 12.5% service charge which is not included but added to the bill at the end [though you can opt out if you prefer] but it means things are even more expensive. I also had a peek into one of the vacated bedrooms which was being made-up and although we didn't stay it looked lovely. All in all, a very pleasant lunch in the heart of the market town — we would happily return. Lyndon, Peter & Sandy.

We didn’t know what to expect when booking the snooty Fox as this was given to us as an experience 2 night away gift. I can happily say my husband and I had a fantastic two nights stay with the snooty Fox. The reception area for dining area and pub were pleasantly clean and welcoming. The staff were incredibly attentive as well as interested in communicating with their guests. The dinner and service was perfect on both nights. We wouldn’t usually eat at the same place twice while away but the first night blew us away and we were more than happy to return the following night, there are plenty of place to eat around there with great reviews, but I’m glad we ate there both nights. There is so much to see around the area and surroundings. We would happily stay here again.

A really disappointing meal. We went in high hopes for a nice dinner on a Thursday night and, whilst service was pretty good, the quality of the food was really poor. The atmosphere in the bar/ restaurant area was also non-existent, and it felt weird to speak in anything other than a whisper. They could definitely do much more to make the restaurant welcoming.
