Attended an 80th birthday party at 3pm today 14th Dec, for a meal. The service was brilliant and the food exceptional, considering there was a wedding and another 80th birthday party all at the same time, nothing was too much trouble for the whole team. Very well done to everyone

Held a corporate away day here and the team could not have been more supportive during the set up phase, very detailed and when I arrived all my requests had been executed as I wished. The overall stay, including the conference room, the bedrooms, all the refreshments and the evenings dinner were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and the team loved the venue. Definitely would book again for such an event, and equally, happy to recommend to those staying for leisure too.

Memorable Stone Manor We had the most incredible wedding weekend at Hogarths Stone Manor, and can honestly say it was worth every moment — and every penny! From our first meeting to our departure on Sunday, the team looked after us with warmth, professionalism and genuine care. We originally planned only a party since we were already legally married, but with Amy’s expert guidance, we realised we could have a mock wedding ceremony, and this truly made the day feel complete and deeply personal. Our wedding director supported us with every detail, everything was made simple for our vendors, and nothing was left to chance — so we didn’t have to do a thing from the moment we arrived on Friday to when we left on Sunday. The venue itself is stunning — both the grounds and indoor spaces are perfect for photography, and we genuinely didn’t realise just how beautiful it was until we experienced it in person. The team dressed the rooms beautifully to match our vision, and so many of our guests said it was the most personal wedding they had ever attended. The food was sensational — seriously one of the standout features of the weekend, with guests commenting again and again on how delicious everything was. Several family and friends have also been married at Hogarths, and while you might think that could make weddings feel similar, Hogarths has an incredible ability to personalise every celebration so that each one feels completely unique. The bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous — so much so that I joked I’d want to get married again just for the room! And the whole weekend felt wonderfully relaxing because the team took care of it all. Most importantly, the value for money was exceptional — we’re still blown away at just how much you get for the price. Everything felt bespoke, beautifully handled and truly stress‑free. We couldn’t recommend Hogarths Stone Manor more highly and are so grateful to Amy, our wedding director, and the whole team for making our day unforgettable.

Such a beautiful hotel and restaraunt. I went here on Sunday on a first date. The atmosphere was lovely, there was a wedding going on but it did not interfere with others. The dark haired young lady in the bream number with the red bows was very efficient and accommodating. She made us feel very welcome. There were 2 main concerns that I wish to add. Starters, my date has the terrine which was the size of a brick and was way too much and my king prawn cocktail was dismal, it had firstly 2 prawns and the sauce was so sharp with vinegar that I could not eat it. I was really disappointed as I have not been out the house for 2 years due to an illness and all I craved was a prawn cocktail. I did not make a fuss as I was in a date. The other major issue was the holly leaf on the Christmas pudding as I went to pick it up to see if it was real, it pricked me and stuck in my finger!! Omg it has now become infected and is extremely sore. I am not sure about anyone else but I’ve never had an inedible decoration on a pudding or dessert before and I think you should take it off! The pudding was beautiful small but enough. I think your portions should be looked at and if you tweaked these the whole experience would have being perfect. We retired to a quiet corner in the lounge for coffee and the whole experience generally was lovely. I hope you take my review on board. Thank you

We attended the Murder Mystery evening in the Garden room. Reasonable meal, good performance. Beforehand we had a drink in the main bar. It is very noticeable that this supposedly up market location the staff wore just casual attire, no uniform was to be seen. Basically very scruffy Card only purchases was also annoying.
