Me and my partner recently stayed up here for a few days for our anniversary and we absolutely couldn’t fault this holiday inn! The room was spacious and cool! And the staff were so lovely to us throughout! Especially Josh and Phoebe from the restaurant and Liliana who works on the front desk - so very friendly! My partner actually proposed to me on our mini break and I came back to the hotel to find a very cute surprise in our room, courtesy of the team members (pictured below) my fiancée and I have stayed in many hotels in the uk and this is by far the best experience we’ve had! Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back in the future! 🌈

We had our wedding here in May and cannot fault anything. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to make our day special and personal. Guests thoroughly enjoyed the food, lots of praise given for that and the atmosphere was relaxed with lots of scope to decorate the venue ourselves. If you're looking for a budget wedding venue without the budget feel then I'd totally recommend the Bromsgrove Holiday Inn and their team. 6 stars 🌟

We stayed here on July 27th 2025. The hotel is ok. The interior is nice with a court yard and nice bar. The pool is basic but ok. The main issue was the air con in the hotel is all out and not working. Then did not tell us this until we checked in and went to the room to find fans. We asked to change rooms but was told the air con was broken. The temp was 25c outside but the room inside was super hot to sleep in even with fans provided. Our fridge\cooler was also broken and had to be replaced. If you are going to stay here check that the air con is working else do not stay here over the summer. The Breakfast was good. The hotel is looking aged from the outside and all the window boards are rotten. It needs some work.

Some work colleagues recommended this. I can only assume that this was a prank at my expense. I would not willingly return. Here's what I found... Reception staff were very annoyed that I couldn't produce my IHG number immediately (it took me 90 seconds). The room is small, just big enough to swing a cat (seriously swinging cats is not nice, don't do it). The road noise is terrible. The windows don't shut properly, as they're rotten and let in the road noise. The air conditioning is broken. The shower control was missing the dial, it was like playing scalding roulette. The TV is mounted to the side of the bed, so you'll get a cricked neck if you watch it. The doors slam for the rooms. Like really slam, so much it reverberates through the floor and into the bed. Oh and the final thing was my name was missing for breakfast. Overall, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Oh and I'm looking forward to a chat with my work colleagues later......

I would have rated this place as 8/10, marked down by 1-2 ply toilet paper, TV not being setup properly, and shower not having indicators. Otherwise a good sized room, air-con (unexpected), in quiet area on the outskirts of Bromsgrove. Breakfast was buffet and reasonable. However all meant nought as despite doing everything right - I had filled in my car details in the machine at reception, as well as during check-in, however about a week later I received 4 demands for payment (for the same night). Receiving a letter like this, despite adhering to the rules, reduces the rating to the lowest. It would appear that this is a regular/routine occurrence as the hotel has a dedicated phone line for this (which upon finding out is not answered 80% of the time, nor was the reception line (I had to ring 7 times in total, and on hold for more than 20 minutes (only for them to then hang up). Ringing again twice I was eventually told that they would issue a reversal. Not good enough. And so I didn't ultimately enjoy my stay - before this I would have left a positive review, and at the time I would have stayed there again. Now definitely not.
