The venue boasts a great selection of function spaces for your celebrations, ranging from the traditional to the modern. Whether you’re planning a relaxed, intimate event or a larger, more extravagant occasion, we can offer the perfect space for you. Our bigger suites can accommodate up to 500 guests for a grand affair, and many of the spaces boast wonderful views of the racecourse, providing the perfect backdrop for your day.
As the venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, you can hold your whole wedding day here. In the warmer months, your ceremony can be held outside on the balcony against a gorgeous backdrop of the view across York Minister.
For your wedding breakfast, our caterers will provide dishes of an exceptional quality. Having gained a fantastic reputation for their service and hospitality, you can rest assured that your wedding breakfast is in safe hands with our caterers.
We have recently introduced a stunning new addition for wedding celebrations. Our Parade Ring Restaurant is a stand-alone facility with its own exclusive entrance through our Henry Cecil gates. It is a modern, timber clad suite with a beautiful feature roof on the top floor of our Weighing Room and overlooking the Parade Ring with views up the racecourse.
We offer a range of set packages to help with your plans. Alternatively, we have the flexibility to customise and tailor each aspect of your wedding to you, ensuring that you have the day of your dreams.

Having visited most racecourses in England, York stands out as number one. Great racing, atmosphere and people - the staff ALL know their role … to ensure race goers have a great day out. Pricing is sensible (way better than some of the southern tracks in particular) and food options abound for all pockets. Great job William Derby and team.

My first time on the races, what an amazing day out! Enjoyed getting dressed up, the grounds are beautiful, lots of spots to watch the races. Everything was really well organised. The shuttle buses from the station were frequent and many,didnt spend more than 5min waiting for one. Nice atmosphere, many different bars and eateries so there were not many queues. Definitely worth getting the county stand ticket to get access to everything.

A fantastic Arial display today. A very busy day at the races, the structure and organisation of the staff is very good. We had a fantastic day , not so lucky with the bets but lucky with the weather .

As always the Ebor race meeting never fails to disappoint! Beautiful race course and one of our favourites, from the minute you arrive it’s an exciting experience. Beautiful decorations and great areas for enjoying the race meeting with friends and family and even making new friends! Fantastic food options and plenty of places for everyone to enjoy a drink.
