Set in the pretty village of Newmillerdam, Yorkshire and within easy reach of the M1 and Wakefield Town Centre, Best Western Hotel St. Pierre is ideally located for your guests. Our reputation and will give you the confidence to trust us with your wedding plans. Our knowledgeable wedding coordinator will look after every detail so you don’t need to worry!
Our Duty Manager will take on the role of Master of Ceremonies for your day and we will arrange evening entertainment with our resident DJ.
We offer a range of spaces for your wedding. The Monet Suite is a large, bright space that holds 100 guests in the day or 200 for an evening reception. The adjacent Lounge Bar can be used for additional space. The Cezanne Suite can accommodate 60 guests in the day and 80 in the evening and comes with a private terrace area. For a smaller, more intimate reception the Matisse or Renoir rooms accommodate 24 guests.

The location of the hotel is perfect, only minutes away from a fabulous choice of Restaurants, Bars and Cafes. The Rooms my Daughter and I had were recently refurbished, or at least they looked like it. The Staff were terrific, helpful and professional. I like it so much I’m taking my wife there next week.

Superb, professional staff: my car ran into engine problems, so I parked it on the car park. The reception staff came out to offer assistance and cold drinks on sweltering 30C day. This was heaven sent with the air conditioned reception offering a welcome respite for my wife young daughter, nephew, and mum, while I waited for breakdown assistance. It's refreshingly pleasant to know first rate customer service is still out there. Thank you sincerely from myself and family.

We had friends here staying at St Pierre last night for the second time in 3 months. We had a few drinks there both times and have to say what an asset the late night staff member Ben is. He is so efficient, helpful and tries his very best to answer anybodies queries. He is very polite very friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has everything they need or have asked for. Ben you really are a very dedicated member of staff and a credit to your employer. Well done and St Pierre if I were you I would make sure I hung on to him, not that many people like that left

I had an issue with a recent booking where the room type didn’t match what I intended to reserve. Dani was incredibly helpful, responsive, and went above and beyond to sort everything out for our group of 3 adults and 2 children. She patiently explained, made sure we were allocated suitable rooms (a family room and a double room next door), and even honoured the original booking price. The service didn’t stop there — breakfast was unexpectedly cooked to order, which was a lovely surprise and really appreciated. The quality and warmth of the food made a great start to our day.
