This 18th century property has been sensitively renovated and now combines stylish contemporary design with beautiful original features and period charm. This prestigious hotel is very much a modern wedding venue with large contemporary paintings hung on crisp white walls. We can offer everything from a small private wedding in the library to a grand affair in the ballroom and our experienced and professional fairy godmothers will guide you through every step of the way. Aston Hall has 52 contemporary bedrooms to choose from, all containing plasma screen TV’s, DVD’s, complimentary wifi, bespoke toiletries and 24 hour room service. The bedrooms include an exclusive house in the grounds containing 6 bedrooms that can be hired exclusively. The Zagato Restaurant at Aston has become one of the most highly recommended restaurants in South Yorkshire and this exquisite cuisine will be served at your wedding. All of our function rooms are licensed for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies and there is the choice of the ballroom which holds 300 or a beautiful marquee in the grounds which can take 120 guests.

We’ve just had a wonderful two night stay at Aston Hall. The staff are fantastic, and the room was clean and in good order. The cost of the stay was extremely reasonable, especially when compared to ‘value’ chains who were charging a lot more for the same dates. The building and grounds added a real air of luxury. It was a lovely surprise to learn that the breakfast was included in the price, as this wasn’t communicated, and we were offered an upgrade, which we opted not to take as it was a little pricey (especially as it was the same price for anyone over 3 years old). We had dinner there on our first night which was very tasty, and not too expensive, with good options for children (our very fussy five year old cleaned his plate!) We were attending Gladiators filming in Sheffield and Aston Hall was very conveniently located - about a fifteen minute drive with no issues. I cannot recommend the hotel enough - especially for anyone travelling a long distance for events at Sheffield Arena.

Such a gorgeous hotel and restaurant. I have had both my children's First Holy Communion events here (one in 2022, one held earlier this month) and the events were handled so smoothly and professionally. The food has been plentiful and delicious everytime and we had nothing but compliments from the guests. We spontaneously went for dinner this evening and it was amazing. The pulled lamb pie is gorgeous and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, especially Connor. What a hidden gem this place is.

I had a wonderful stay here for 5 nights in July'25. Location of the hotel is very serene and it offers old English charm which makes the stay extremely special. Rooms are spacious, and comfortable with all the modern amenities. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was complementary but food in the restaurant was a bit overpriced.

We’ve received countless compliments from our guests about the food, which was nothing short of exceptional. Everyone was so impressed with the quality and presentation. Everything we needed was taken care of, and we are so glad we chose Aston Hall for our special day. The beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms, and impeccable service were all perfect.
