The historic venue is licensed to hold civil ceremonies, so your whole day of wedding celebrations can be carried out under one roof. The Drawing Room, the main room in the house, boasts stunning period features which provide a real sense of grandeur. In the warmer months, the room’s French doors allow the space to be transformed with cascades of natural light and delightful views across the garden.
Having recently undergone a full £4 million pound renovation, the East Wing of the house has three additional function suites which ideally accommodate more intimate events.

Service is excellent, and the staff very polite, and helpful. I had the misfortune to be arranging a wake for my recently deceased father, but they were completely respectful of my wishes, and were quite prepared to adjust their buffet to accommodate dietary requirements, avoiding obvious allergens such as their pesto sauce which contained peanuts.

A wonderful place to stay. It's a lovely old hotel in beautiful surroundings. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was outstanding!

Friendly helpful staff, wonderful food and views of the countryside from the window with house Martins flitting in and out of the sunshine made for a wonderful short break. The room was clean and the bed very comfy with a good sized bathroom. We worked our way through the breakfast menu. It was all very good.

Fantastic place. Cannot fault anything. Had a wonderful night with beautiful food and the service is 1st class. The grounds are great to walk around with the dog. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in for a long time and can’t wait to go back. Thank you guys xx
