Had a lovely stay, evening meal and breakfast as a family of 8 celebrating a big birthday. Everything was well organised, from children’s beds all set up and evening meal times, to flowers in the room of the birthday girl. It was clean, lovely atmosphere & food was very good. Particular thanks for calling us as soon as we’d left to say my daughter’s favourite teddy had been left behind! Lovely place, thank you!

As a north east wedding photographer I have the pleasure of visiting a lot of hotels/wedding venues. Gisborough Hall is just gorgeous. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are great with plenty of options for photos. The team at Gisborough are spot on and make the day run smoothly and stress free. A great choice

The location was very convenient and the hotel was stunning. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was plentiful. Only stayed for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer. The service was top notch, nothing was too much, service at breakfast was great. So accommodating and even allowed a room change! Thank you keep it up :)

We had a pleasant stay here for my partners birthday celebrations last month. Pros Large and spacious room with comfortable bed and lovely front facing view. Breakfast in bed was great and perfectly cooked, delicious. The evening meal was also delicious with excellent service and lovely ambience/setting for a few drinks before and after the meal. Service from check in to check out was friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The location is good with beautiful countryside nearby, Guisborough and Saltburn seafront within easy reach. Parking was easy, convenient and near the main entrance. Cons It was one of the hottest days of the year. Whilst I understand a period property cannot have AC everywhere, it would have been nice to have something better than a 90s style fan that has seen better days. The plumbing in the bathroom wasn’t working correctly and the shower plug hole seemed to be blocked, filling with water when using - not particularly pleasant. Whilst the room was very nice, it was starting to look a little run down and in need of some TLC. The bed sheets were also not particularly neat as you would see with an established chain like the Hilton. Overall we had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend if you’re in the area. 🌟

This time I was there for a wedding and I must say the rooms for the wedding party were not as good as the normal rooms. I’ve stayed there a few times and the rooms have been really good. The one in the wedding side of the venue were just plain boarding rooms and it took me awhile to find the tea coffee facilities in the room in fact it was the next day as they are hidden behind some fake drawers the food was good but not enough very small portions although breakfast was ample only encountered one rude member of staff when I opened the breakfast room door at 7:56 she was very cross with me and told me they weren’t opening till eight other than that it is a nice place we have been a few times
