A typical businessman's hotel through the week with functions at the weekend. The evening food was ok. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The rooms are very comfortable and well fitted. There is a nice big field at the rear with walks from it. The views of the river are nice with the bridge in the distance. I liked it.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very spacious, calm hotel. We had a twin room with extremely comfortable beds and an ensuite with full sized bath and shower over. Plenty of hot water. I paid £113.90 for 2 people for 2 nights, which is one of the best deals we have had. I chose to add on £10 per person for breakfast which proved to be a good choice. A wide range of hot and cold food available as a buffet in the dining room which has great views to the Humber Bridge and Lincolnshire. All that said the best feature of the hotel was the fabulous staff. Every one we met was courteous, cheerful and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Classic rooms are like living in an ive, no ac, no fans, no through ventilation. Also the trend seems to be no fridge, no sockets or cable ports at the bed so you cacan'plug anything close to you. Another new one to me was at check-in when your offered a free drink voucher so they dont have to service the room. Again no toilet brush so any mess is there for your stay, they state towels to be left on the floor or in bath and they will change so i did that and nothing changed. Breakfast is sparce , croissants were old not fresh, coffee machine ok and finally proper mugs however had to leave as the chef decided to turn up late and therfore no hot breakfast. Food menu very overpriced so unless you get reimbursed it will cost a small fortune. Overall not impressed so would it be a choice yes only if there was no other reasonable option.
