Bring your team together through extraordinary experiences at our extraordinary venue; Howgills House. Snuggled between the Lakes and Dales lays the luxury 12-bedroom Country House sleeping up to 20 of your team (we also have other properties nearby to accommodate larger groups). A short drive off junction 37 of the M6, only a 2-hour train commute from London or 90 minutes from Manchester, Leeds, and Liverpool.

The price to hire our House, reduces the more number of nights you book. One night is a minimum of £2000. A 2 night stay (based on 12 people) is £2400. Please note quotes are tailored to your group size.

There's an onsite commercial kitchen if you fancy making cooking for the team part of the challenge. Or catering can be provided for you upon request. Howgills House work with partners who can deliver activities like duck herding, cocktail making, ghyll scrambling, or clay pigeon shooting, or if you’d rather you can organise activities yourself. The friendly staff will help you with as little or as much as you’d like to.

Please note we require a £1000 security bond for all reservations; however this is fully refundable should there be no breakages or damages during your stay.

Offering 12 en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to 20 guests, this is the perfect spot for your next team away day that will impress your team with rooms that are decorated individually, with some rooms offering wet rooms whilst others offer roll-top baths with showers.

After a long day of team activities (on-site activities are available) and building relationships with your team, unwind with a soak in the 2 hot tubs under a canopy with overlooking countryside views, or cook up a storm using the Gas BBQ or the wood fire pizza oven available on-site.

The professional staff will take the stress out of your stay by allowing you to have the chance to pre-order home-cooked tray-bakes (lasagna etc.) that you will just need to heat up, so no need to round up the better cooks on your team!

Other amazing features of this stay include a spacious lounge with countryside views, wooden floors, period features, and underfloor heating. As well as TV lounge with open fire, dining area & commercial kitchen. You can even cozy up round the fire with a book from the library in the house as well.
