I booked one of the 'bungalows' that sit away from the main hotel. It was spacious and comfortable, although I suspect the tiles floors would get very cold in winter. No aircon, but a fan was provided which did the job and had been turned on before I arrived. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious. The shower was hot and fairly powerful but the enclosure leaves room for water to escape into the wider bathroom area. Fast and efficient service at Reception. Plenty of parking space directly outside the bungalows and a nice little patio area outside with furniture. Room was well stocked with tea/coffee etc and this was topped up daily. Would definitely stay here again if I'm on the area for work.

We attended an 80th birthday party here and had a great evening. The 3 course meal was delicious and the service was great. There were free casino tables for entertainment which were great fun. I have to give a special mention to the young lady working on the black Jack table who was a great laugh and made the experience even more enjoyable. All staff encountered were very friendly and approachable. The rooms were nice and clean with a very comfortable bed and although our room had no windows it did have an electric skylight roof window which also had an electric complete blackout blind making the room pitch black. There was a very good buffet style breakfast included and this wonderful hotel is set on beautiful grounds with lots of outdoor seating and tables.

The venue was great with some lovely views and plenty of seating outside for a drink in the sun. The room i stayed in was also clean and well maintained the only issue was it was hot at night with no air con although they did supply a fan in each room which helped. The food a pricing was very good as was the experience in general the only thing I can mention is if you wanted a drink from the bar you had to ask around the corner at the reception but this is very close to the bar and wasn't a major issue at all. If I was in this area again I would stay here again.

Very noisy stay - couldn't use room. We booked two rooms for a Sunday night and upon arrival we were informed that there was a wedding and we could expect noise from the DJ until midnight. This would be challenging as we were travelling with 2 young children. A receptionist kindly moved one of our rooms to a bungalow. However the noise from the wedding party was so bad (the DJ may as well have been in the room) that we were forced to abandon the inside room and have all of us sleep in the bungalow. We were refused a refund at check out as the manager was not on duty - we've contacted them twice since and had no answer.
