From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted with a warm smile and genuine hospitality from the receptionist, Rachel. What truly stood out was how far they went to ensure my stay was not just comfortable, but memorable. I had arrived earlier than expected, and not only did Rachel manage to arrange an early check-in despite the hotel being quite full, but they also offered me a complimentary coffee while I waited. They took the time to ask about the reason for my trip, offered great local recommendations, and even printed out a personalized list of nearby attractions. Thank you for going above and beyond—you are a true asset to the hotel!

Absolutely wonderful stay for our late baby moon. We were greeted by a wonderful receptionist who checked us in promptly to our upgraded rooms with a wonderful card and some decorations. Enjoyed the lovely pool to relax (which was perfect for my wife. Another wonderful highlight was the delicious breakfast with loads of options. I opted for a cooked omelette most days and my wife went for the vegan sausages. Special shout out to Linda who was very friendly and managed to get me an item the kitchen had initially run out of. PS: Thanks to Linda for the wonderful chat and advice about children. You are an incredible example of how your care makes this place incredible

When I checked into the hotel, I met Linda, and she immediately made me feel so welcome. There was something about her presence—caring and comforting—that reminded me of a mother’s kindness. She has such a beautiful spirit, and the way she looks after guests shows how much she truly cares. In the mornings, she’s on the early shift preparing breakfasts, and even at that hour she shines with energy and positivity. We had such a lovely experience at breakfast thanks to Nicola, Linda, and Poppy. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and taken care of — nothing was too much trouble. Friendly, welcoming and reasonably priced. The building is showing its age however, we arrived after very heavy downpours and there were a lot of leaks in the back hallway and also at the doorway from the bar area to the toilets. The staff were doing their best and were all helpful and very pleasant. The pool was warm and clean and the bedroom was very clean quiet and comfortable. It's in a strange location- as though the industrial estate has grown around it so we weren't sure the sat nav was sending us to the right place!
