Stayed for a week in lodge 4 dog friendly lodge but only problem was no fencing around the decking area so dogs couldn't be let outside on the decking while we used the hot tub which is something that every lodge we've stayed in previously with the dogs always has. The fridge had no shelves in but when we called reception someone was out within 10 minutes with some shelves. Liked the dog toy and poo bags and water bowl. Lodge was clean beds comfortable toilets clean showers nice, but sofa couldn't seat 8 adults. Gym was nice plenty of equipment to use.

Lodge a bit tired in places could have done with a good deep clean linen towels etc all lovely. Restaurant food and staff amazing so friendly and helpful. Grounds lovely for a walk just a shame people went so fast around the small single track road. Lovely views. Shame about the tiredness of the lodges.

A lovely stay but the rooms are highly disappointing for the price you pay. Wear and tear literally everywhere, piles of dust, disgustingly dirty cups and cutlery, stains on curtains, floorboards with gaps in, broken cupboards, toilet roll holder stuck on with blue tack! And much more including old food left in top shelf of cupboard by previous stayer!! These things are so easily fixable and for the price you pay you expect them to be perfect. Would only return if these were to be fixed. Awaiting a response to my complaint
