April 2024Couldn’t have asked for anything better. I traveled solo for the first time and it was the most amazing experience. I loved this place, beautiful building, kind staff, tasty breakfast and perfect location. I felt like home. Thank you for making my trip so memorable 🤍 I’ll definitely come back!

May 2024Really lovely Hotel, the staff was friendly and the room cozy and quiet, the bed was a bit small for two people and only had one blanket, which might be okay if you're a couple but as friends it can be a bit weird. The location is great, you're close to several Underground stops and right next to Hyde Park. The breakfast was okay, could have been a bit more vegan-friendly though (some oat milk and vegan spread would be nice). All in all a really good hotel, that I would highly recommend :)

April 2024Stayed there for a couple of nights during my first ever visit to London. A no frills stay by the Latvian cultural center. A small room, good for 1. Twin size beds, not extremely comfortable. An old building, no elevators. Reasonably clean, although had a bit of a musty smell. A sink inside the room. Toilet and shower on the floor. Friendly and accommodating lady at the reception. Good home cooked breakfast- omelet, bacon, warm croissants, good coffee. Absolutely fantastic location. Overall- good value for money. I wouldn’t stay there longer than for 2 nights. A good hotel for a solo traveler. P.s. Next time will pay a little extra to stay at a 3*+ hotel, but that’s just my personal level of comfort.

April 2024I checked in for 4 nights and left after 2 nights. I read such great reviews but it was so disappointing! First of all this place is very dated and the building is old. I had room 3 and I could hear EVERYTHING. The walls and floors are very thin and creaky. I could even hear the front doorbell when people arrived. I heard every step, every door, the dining room conversations, and even the Latvian center activities in the same building. There was a bathroom not associated with the guesthouse that I could hear ppl in using the hand dryer. 2 out of 4 showers were out of order. One of those showers was falling apart and the hand wand wouldn’t stay mounted. There were 12 rooms sharing these. Every bathroom is different in hardware. Some don’t have but one hook to hang stuff. There’s no shelving in any shower to put toiletries on. My room’s floors were dirty with lots of hair and debris. They did clean it for me after I asked them. They don’t give wash cloths for face. Just a medium and big towel. The bed was high and looked like something you’d find in a psych hospital. I had to play white noise on blast and wear ear plugs to get sound sleep. The staff were friendly and that was appreciated. Slight language barrier. The place was a good price and in a good location. I would not stay here again though.
