Thistle Kensington Gardens provides an ideal venue for business meetings, family occasions and other events. Our largest function, the Park & Porchester Room, seats up to 45 people theatre-style, making it suitable for presentations and larger meetings, with views over Kensington Gardens.

We have a further room suitable for board and team meetings, training sessions, presentations, interviews and private dining. Large windows let in lots of natural light, helping to keep everyone feeling fresh and superb views over Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens makes this a wonderful venue for a wedding reception.

Facing Hyde Park and overlooking Kensington Gardens, the executive Boardroom enjoys natural daylight from the large windows and beautiful views. The room is fully air conditioned and ideal for meetings and seats up to 12 delegates. The room contains an elegant Oak table and leather chairs which gives a strong executive feel, making this room the perfect venue for board meetings.

    We had a wonderful time at this hotel, staff were friendly and polite, the room overlooked the park and was a good size, it was very clean and a large comfortable bed. Linens and towels good quality too. Food on room service was better than experienced in many other hotels. Location is great to walk out to the park and the tube in very close. Will stay again.

    I had a really lovely stay. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were excellent and very welcoming in particular Sogand. The management was very welcoming. I really enjoyed the dinner and the staff was very professional. Room was good size and the cleaning was great.

    The hotel is excellently located, with easy access to the city via bus (20 mins). The bedrooms are clean and remarkably quiet, despite facing the road. I must highlight the morning breakfast experience with Sirajul. His impeccable service and hospitality in the restaurant are truly invaluable. Thank you, Sirajul, for your exceptional attention to detail and professionalism.

    Stayed a few nights while visiting from overseas and found the hotel to be clean and adequate and the staff friendly enough. We pulled into the car park in our hire care next door after checking with the manager that it was okay, now I have a fine from my 5 min stop. Have emailed the hotel 3 times, no response. Have emailed the office email, they said that cant help (ie: dont care) What a shame the after service has dropped the rating.

    The worst hotel experience I've ever had. I couldn't even pass reception. The hotel had over booked, and didn't communicate with me, upon arrival they asked me to wait for the manager, then he asked me to "check" my details, to only tell me later that the hotel was fully booked, and that I've been upgraded to a room in their "5-star" sister hotel "Thistle Marble Arch" - not really a five star. They gave me the name and registration number of a taxi driver and told me to pay for it and that I'll be refunded when I arrive at the other hotel. Upon arrival the new hotel said they wouldn't pay, and when they called back the manager, the manager gave them an email address for me to send the receipt. I had to stay up resolving these issues, instead of having a comfortable night in the new hotel. Things would have been so much better with a simple email or call before hand, communicating the change of hotel. Finally, something makes me feel that this is not the first time this happens.
