We built our venue to feel like home, and that's exactly what we are told it feels like by everyone that comes and spends some time with us. We have two floors. Upstairs, a bar with plenty of natural light that also looks gorgeous as the evening draws in, lit by fairy and candle light. Down stairs serves as the disco dungeon where you and your party can throw some wicked shapes underneath the splendour of a glitter ball.

We have a classic cocktail menu, draft beers, awesome wines and gorgeous spirits.

Our aim is to make venue usage as simple as possible. We rarely ask for minimum spend, there's no huge deposits and our staff are a delight to work with . As a sometime music venue all audio requirements can be easily met and the space is yours to decorate as you wish.

We can't wait to have you with us.

This adaptable space has a bar, sofas, music playing facilities, as well as decorative foliage and fairy lights.

We like to keep things simple so the whole building is yours for £800 as minimum spend.

The venue can also offer a musical team-building or stag and hen package. Get in touch for details

This space serves both as a bar open to the public on the ground floor and a guitar school in the basement. The bar team here is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is super laid back and cosy! I hosted a large group for drinks here and the team were absolute gems to work with from the planning phase to the actual event day; I couldn't have asked for a better venue and bar team that made the space feel like a true home away from home for everybody! Highly recommended for casual drinks and as an event space if you ever are in need of one!

I had a bad day yesterday, I came to this place and it changed my whole mood.....amazing music, amazing service, amazing people....Live singer and Guitarist, the bar tender Layla was in such good spirits she also recommended somewhere for me to go after they close which was also a really good vibe, will definitely be returning! Thank you X

We were exhausted from travel and heading back to Mama Shelter when a warm light and the sound of live music caught my attention. Visiting my daughter who had just moved to Hackney before Christmas, our trip from Vancouver, Canada was long and tiring and isolation and lack of community had me aching for travel. What also has been lacking in the deepest way is live music, especially in a local open mic environment. I raised my girls on live music and have taken guitar lessons off and on for years, mastering only air guitar and feeling self conscious about singing. So on that stroll home with my daughter who married a musician and as a young teen had herself performed at a local open mic in our home town, she understood there was no way I wasn’t going to be drawn in. We peaked in and from across the room glided the most genuine welcoming host offering us a drink. We felt welcome and we stayed. We made new friends that night and a part of me that has been hiding for years broke through in a profound way. We sang and laughed and with permission made photos of the musicians who performed that night. It was absolute magic. And I hear taking lessons there is pretty awesome too. So here’s to The Guitar Social, where the ever present energy that unites us all exists. Go there and be fed. We are all hungry and your soul will be nourished. ART | FOOD | MUSIC Play on Fiona!

An incredibly safe, fun, and encouraging space with Thomas and also the other members too for a novice guitar performer to get feedback and develop the courage to get up on a stage!

Have been waiting on a refund for 4 months for two months of membership payments where I wasn’t able to attend lessons. I really was so excited to take these lessons; however, I was promised a refund but have received no communication in the past 2 months
