Steeped in over 200 years of history; this Nottingham favourite offers a convenient location with access to both trams and buses as well as a short walk to the train station and the wood-panelled charm of a quintessentially British pub. The upstairs meeting room offers all the practicality needed from a modern meeting space and can cater to a variety of event types whilst retaining the charm and quirk you’d expect of a space named after Alice in Wonderland.

March 2024We nipped in for lunch on good Friday, haven't been in there for quite a while. Staff were great and the food was good. Both of us decided on the scampi & fries with garden peas. Although some people would say the portions are a bit small it was just right for us. I liked the skin-on fries and the blackened lemon was a nice touch. The ales are Castle Rock and a good range from IPAs to ruby reds. It can get a bit busy when the footballs on.

October 2021Lovely place to have a drink. It has a very friendly atmosphere, staff is really lovely and friendly. I felt welcomed and I enjoyed my Guinness that was poured with lots of care. I must say is one of the best I have tasted lately. I have to come back!!!

May 2024I have been working around the corner from this pub and went in for lunch which was great and great service too, very welcoming, however the same evening I called in for a pint after work and felt the barmaid customer services could do with a review! She threw the card reader at me which I thought was rude but didn't make an issue as she might not have meant to! I called in this evening and was the same barmaid who knew I was next in the queue waiting to be served but she chose to serve a girl she obviously was freinds with before me and I'd been waiting patiently! I don't like to complain but there's no need for people to be rude that choose to work in hospitality!!!
