What a lovely hotel and restaurant! The dog friendly room was a little more tired, but the rest of the hotel was excellent! Would highly recommend!

Good room. Good staff. Great breakfast and very friendly breakfast staff. Downsides no air con and there is little to no air flow so it was very hot when we stayed. Not really a proper extractor fan in the bathroom so very steamy. However the worst thing by far is there is an issue with the plumbing and if you run the hot tap, flush the loo etc or one of your neighbours does there is a loud vibrating noise through the whole room. We didn't ask for another room but as the hotel is under new ownership I'm sure they just need a chance to fix it. We were in room 20 and only in for the night. Great place to stay within 10mins walking distance of northcote just ask for a different room.

Amazing food

Mother in law and friends visited today, they left very unimpressed with the quality of the food!
