Just reviewing the beautiful architecture as we didn't go inside the pub on this occasion. If you're visiting London, the area around Liverpool Street through to Brick Lane and Spitalfields is quite magical. Aim for mid afternoon light as it bounces between the buildings.
Dai Tree
A delightful traditional London street corner pub with modern twists including multiple screens showing sports (cricket during my visit). A good choice of beers, both cask and keg along with a wide offering of wines and spirits. Rooms also available. Service was quick an efficient. The staff are lovely and happy. A short but most enjoyable visit.

Lovely little pub. Delicious fish finger sandwich and service from the karate kid (with the headband, sorry we didn’t get your name) was EXCELLENT! My only constructive suggestion would be to place bottles in the bin rather than throwing them in, but this was a very minor sticking point.

Classic english pub with nice offering of food and drinks. Loved the time spent here with the colleagues. Enjoyed their pizza 🍕. Food gets closed by 8PM London time.

Rude and arrogant bar staff. AVOID. Been here a few times after work and brought some friends and couples in on Saturday night having reserved a table for NINE of us. Nobody at the bar (ordering) and get served so I start calling the first few drinks out (pints of Guiness, etc) whilst my pal was coming over with the order for the ladies. The girl serving (young, fair wavy hair) asked anything else, I said, yes please a Fosters top and a Moretti. Whilst still pouring the second or third drinks out of the five I'd ordered so far she said, is that it, in a short abrupt way? I said, no hold on my pals just gone to check. She said, next time you come to the bar can you make sure you have all you drink order ready..... I said pardon, as I thought I misheard!! She said it again, at which point my pal arrived and went to ask for the other drinks (mix of vodkas and gins, etc). I stopped him and said to the girl there is no need to say that or talk to me like that, I'm ordering 9 drinks here. She said, well you need to remember them all then don't you! I said, can you remember 9 drinks? She said yes. I said.... well that's your job so well done but it isn't mine, I'm the customer so I'll be calling them as we go and I'm not holding anybody up here either am I (as I look around there is another guy next to me getting served by someone else (the guy mouths, WOW whats all that about, at me!). Another girl then has a go at me for talking to the staff like that (yes I was annoyed by her!). I told her that her colleague was rude and unnecessary and in 30yrs of going to 100s of pubs and bars around the world, nobody has have ever come out with that one before. I apologised for getting annoyed although I didn't get an apology back! Anyway, we spent £200+ on drinks with these pratts and decided to leave after those drinks (my wife and her friend were stopped from going over and giving them their 'point of view' on the matter!!! We went to a lovely pub around the corner to carry on the night. Last time I'll be going in there.
