April 2024Great service, attentive staff. Efficient check in, small lift. Room was pleasant with a cozy vibe (room 22) Good selection in the mini bar. Only bottles of water were charged at £2.50. Usually you’d expect some complimentary ones. Air conditioning only went as low as 18, but didn’t really cool the room. So a warm nights sleep, if you prefer cold, the windows don’t open in that particular room. For design reasons, but worth noting. Bathroom doors are an odd arrangement, two small outward opening doors that are tough and noisy to open and close. Might wake a light sleeper if you have one accompanying you. Overall a nice stay, but nothing outstanding to attract me to stay again over trying somewhere new on my next visit to Manchester.

March 2024My daughter booked a table for afternoon tea as my Mother's Day/ birthday present. Her friend and her daughter also came along to join us. The whole experience was delightful. The food was delicious, the staff were amazing and I have no hesitation in recommending them. Many thanks to all the staff for a wonderful afternoon!

April 2024Best hotel ever! Staff are so nice and if you book directly through them you get access to the spa and a free drink. Whole experience makes you feel so special. I added the birthday package/rose petals and they did it so nicely. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, would 100% recommend.

April 2024What a lovely place, I love the styling of it, very subtle, calm and peaceful. The afternoon tea is delicious, perfect for a special treat, lots of options too for anyone who is selective with their food. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They're also very discreet and don't hang around you all the time, that's a pet peeve of mine... The facilities are beautifully clean and in the old world style which I loved. A real treat

May 2024This is a review of the afternoon tea at the townhouse: Staff/Service was 5 out of 5, couldn’t fault it. Very attentive. Drinks were lovely, good champagne and plenty of hot drinks. But the food was the real let down, not all of it - the sandwiches were lovely, but some lacked taste and the scone was perfect (although on the small side). The real downfall were the cakes, non of which I liked - they were overly fancy sounding and some were just tasteless.
