An architectural showcase of etched glass and portland stone carvings, the Grade II-listed home of the Royal Institute of British Architects makes a striking setting for Christmas parties. Standout spaces include Florence Hall – a light-filled centrepoint with floor-to-ceiling windows – and the smaller Aston Webb Room, which benefits from leather-lined walls for cosy winter dinners. Up on the top floor, the Wren Room is graced with brilliant views across the capital. Each space can be paired with a seasonal menu, fine wines and festive entertainment. All profits from events go to the RIBA charity, which supports British architectural talents.

Firstly they had no idea whom the person receiving their goody bag was. Secondly they go and put their drinking table in front of the RIBA's Mural. Especially when they had plenty of space to put the table elsewhere.

I applied for a job here. Went to the interview and was told I'd hear back yes or no within a week. Never heard back so assume I didn't get the job but a quick email is standard practice and a mark of courtesy.
