Bocconcino Restaurant, Ground Floor

My favourite Italian restaurant in town. My family abroad had a very enjoyable experience here and they said they would eat in Bocconcino in their next visit. My top two recommendations in this restaurant is the beef and the flat bread. They are superb!!!! Very friendly waitress who had tried to accommodate our wants and dietary requirements. Thanks for making a night special :)

Nice atmosphere and great service. I was impressed by the cocktail menu which offered a great choice. The food was ok but overpriced in my opinion as the quality was not great. The dessert was excellent and so was the service. I would recommend for photo opportunities but not for the quality of food.

First time at Bocconcino and I’m sad to to I was not impressed. Reservation was at 9.30 and I reached there by 9.40. Our table was not ready and we were made to wait in the lounge for 15 mins . 9.55 we got our table . When we requested to order a few starters our server told us we need to place the entire order at that time. We asked her the last order time which was 10.45 so why at 10 you are insisting we order everything ? She was very rude , The food was nothing great, and in the last few days we have eaten at much more better Italian restaurants. Artichoke salad, cold cuts, bread( which they charge you for) , white sauce tagliatelle, fusilli scampi - all lacked flavour . Only two dishes were good - eggplant parmigiana and the fish in the main. Won’t be returning to dine here
