Had a lovely time at the hotel. The room was great. Was also very pleased by the cookies, drinks and a card that were left in our room after I informed the hotel that I was celebrating my anniversary. Would 100% stay again

We really enjoyed our room & stay at this hotel. The first room was small but Louise found us a perfect room with high ceilings. We appreciated they acknowledged our Titanium membership that we work hard to maintain. We couldn't have been happier until...we received a ticket (commiserate w/one nights lodging) for leaving the car in front while we went to get our luggage early Sunday morning. We were gone 10 minutes and incurred a hefty fine. Since you have to park off site (blocks away) in a public parking lot the hotel should make available a place to load & unload without incurring a fine. We wrote to contest the ticket & Mr. M. Smith stated "Your vehicle was seen parked in a Loading Bay". They are intent on raising revenue for Oxfordshire County Council at the expense of the unsuspecting tourist who reads the sign as written.

My recent hotel stay, nestled on the edge of the River Thames, offered a prime location near major attractions. Unfortunately, no parking was available, leading to reliance on nearby parks with a standard hourly rate of £5. The breakfast impressed with a decent selection, including fresh options from the kitchen. The rooms were not only comfortable but also provided a quiet retreat. Overall, a pleasant stay marred only by the parking inconvenience.
