Highly recommend for a night or two. Rooms are small so I wouldn't stay for longer than that. Cooked Breakfast was excellent. Good value rooms. Good location in center of town. Parking 5 mins walk away. I strongly recommend using the what three words address on the email to find parking entrance as its off a dual carriage way so you don't want to miss the turning but what three words took me right to the door

Lovely room However disappointed on arrival, I booked the room and specially asked on booking.com about having access to the pool for an evening swim, which was confirmed, then when checking in I was told the pool was closed. It’s located in another building and they choose the timetable for access. The car park you have to prebook and pay for in advance, costs around £30 and couldn’t get access on arrival, had to call the hotel for a code and location of car park was not easy to find. It’s then a short walk from there to the hotel. Local shops close by Receptionist offered a later check out for the pool being closed

I really enjoyed my stay at Conference Aston Hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent, perfect for a refreshing start or end to the day. The rooms are well-equipped, cozy and cater to a variety of budgets, making it a great choice whether you’re traveling for business or leisure. The location is very convenient, within walking distance to almost everything I wanted to see and do, which made exploring easy. I particularly enjoyed returning in the evenings to relax with a refreshing glass of flavored water, a cookie, or a cupcake. The little touches really made my stay feel welcoming and enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I had a comfortable, convenient, and pleasant stay, and I’d happily come back!

The room was.... Tiny. Clean, functional, but tiny. The bathroom was the biggest issue, so small that unless you wanted to feel like you're locked in a wardrobe, most bathroom functions are best undertaken with an open door. So small was the bathroom that the small shower cubicle wasn't able to have a door (no room to open) and so a small shower curtain was needed. As I understand it, this wasn't the only size of room, others had it much better, but honestly it felt more like a big cupboard than a bedroom. The bed was on wheels... Which meant it did an excellent job of rolling away from the wall and headboard as I slept. This was a work event booking, so I can't comment on value for money and must emphasis that it was clean and the staff very attentive.

In a word: AWFUL Shower was broken and not working at all. Poured a bath instead but water was lukewarm. Arrived at 9pm to find window left wide open and room freezing. As rooms remarkably have no temperature control (air is just pumped out of vents and controlled centrally I assume) room remained very cold all night. Room cramped and rather dated. All this after paying more than £160 room only for the night. Reported on check out and promised someone would call me. Nearly a week later now and no call - they do have my number and email address... Do yourself a big favour and book a proper hotel at this price in the city centre instead.
