About Venue

Terry’s Cafe is a diamond in the rough. In an area now saturated with chains and soulless cheap snacks we’re proud to have achieved TripAdvisor’s 5-star rating and Certificate of Excellence for two years running. With all of our menus available to takeaway, you can walk away with your lunch for a fiver including our award winning sandwiches.

Two for tea or tea for two, afternoon tea at Terry’s is coming to you!

We are proud to incorporate into our menu Wilkin & Sons Ltd. preservers of distinction since 1885, and Royal Warrant holders to the reigning monarch since 1911 & Tiptree Patisserie, the home of exceptional quality handmade cakes and patisseries.

With our fine teas & exceptional cakes an afternoon tea menu will be resuming in spring 2017.

Terry's Cafe is a great example of a place that takes pride in British food. They serve various types of full English breakfasts, and one of our friends even ordered a steak. Everything was delicious, the food was really high quality, and the staff were polite and helpful. Although, it was fairly hot inside the café and there weren't fans or air con, not a huge issue! Overall, we had a great time and I'd definitely go back!

Really love this place for a full English breakfast experience! Staff were really nice and food was great. It was so much we couldn’t eat it all! A little bit on the expensive side, but well worth it for a full, one off, experience

The owner was so welcoming — as soon as we walked by, she invited us in for breakfast. This was the first time I experienced such hospitality in the UK. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We ordered the Billingsgate Roll, and the scallops inside were so fresh and sweet. Latte is also good, not that bitter and taste smooth. Although I’ll be graduating and leave here, I’ll recommend this place to Chinese visitors on xiaohongshu. We said the food is good, but I forgot to mention that I will recommend it on social mediaher. I hope she sees this review!

Terry’s Café is an absolute gem! We came for the English breakfast and it was incredible, delicious, hearty, and full of flavor. Every bite felt like a true taste of London. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our waiter was outstanding: super friendly, charismatic, and polite. A memorable experience that’s definitely worth having. Highly recommended! 💯

I went for a late breakfast on a friday, there was a 15 min wait for a table for 2. I ordered the billingsgate breakfast which was pretty good. One downside was the teapot spouts were pretty stained and it was a bit gross, so maybe order tea by the cup. The service was good so i would visit again
