April 2024I absolutely adore Portsmouth Guildhall for countless reasons. Not only is it a stunning architectural gem, exuding an aristocratic charm, but it's also a hub of vibrant activity. I've had the pleasure of attending various events within its grand walls, from job fairs to concerts, each experience leaving me in awe. Even during my university days, I found solace in sitting in front of this magnificent building, admiring its beauty. I wholeheartedly recommend Portsmouth Guildhall to anyone seeking an enriching and memorable experience.

Invalid DateGreat place for concerts, stand up comedy graduation ceremonies and other type of performances. The Lord Mayor offices are here as well as the City Council chamber. The Guildhall hosted the International Comic Con for first time in 2018 and they will do so again in 2019.

April 2024The stage lighting in this venue is amazing - I've never seen anywhere better, and I've been to lots of venues.

Invalid DateWe recently went for comic con. They usually have good events on and this was no exception. The best toilets are definitely in the basement. They have a few bars, a main stage and various other multipurpose rooms available. It's a beautiful building and an important Portsmouth location. Very accessible.

March 2024Great venue for gigs. Plenty of helpful staff and a mix of standing and seated.

March 2024Went to Al Murray here. The staff were friendly and nice. The bar they set up sold bottles not draught beer. There is a large car park approx ten minutes walk from the theatre through the old shopping centre.

March 2024A quaint venue in Portsmouth. The building is a bit tired, but has plenty of character and charm. Seating was adequate as was the bar. Usual queues for toilets though. A good experience overall
