July 2021It's absolutely a stunning place to look at and it always amazed me every time I visit Portsmouth. The Guildhall has so many features to look at the lions are so beautiful and large no mistaking them. So large and well looked after and so clean. Never miss the Guildhall if you visit Portsmouth you will be amazed at the structure the amount of steps and the beautiful Tower.

Invalid DateGreat place for concerts, stand up comedy graduation ceremonies and other type of performances. The Lord Mayor offices are here as well as the City Council chamber. The Guildhall hosted the International Comic Con for first time in 2018 and they will do so again in 2019.

Invalid DateWe recently went for comic con. They usually have good events on and this was no exception. The best toilets are definitely in the basement. They have a few bars, a main stage and various other multipurpose rooms available. It's a beautiful building and an important Portsmouth location. Very accessible.

September 2021It's a nice building, inside and out. But for the love of all that is holy. Get better seats! The leg space is awful, the comfort is minimal at best. Did I mention the lack of leg space? I'm 6ft and with my legs spread as wide as I could I was still pinned in. Also air conditioning in the main hall, get some. It's so hot during shows ect.

July 2021A landmark building in the heart of this great naval city. Every summer in July this former town hall is turned into a joyful place for students and their parents when the graduation ceremonies of the University of Portsmouth take place. The steps provides the perfect platform and the tower and the Corinthian backdrop for group and family photographs.

August 2021Loved the evening, saw the Respite tour by Russell Howard. It's was a good evening, strange though, it being the first capacity event since restrictions were lifted. Have been to the guildhall before, this was one of many good evenings. Will be going again soon, well worth a visit. I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun evening out.

October 2021Was checked for vaccine status which was good. No social distancing and not a lot promoting wearing of masks. We were in front row for John Bishop. Probably happier to have been further back and to have an aisle seat.
