Had afternoon tea and was lovely. Waiting staff just right, attentive to your needs but not intrusive. Offered more tea which I like but was given hot water with the tea so was ample amount. Sandwiches very nice and little quiche was delicious. Scones tasty but quite dense so took some getting through plenty of jam and clotted cream though. Little cakes were lovely but had to get a doggy bag because couldn't manage them all. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Beautiful setting and amazing restaurant downstairs. I truly enjoyed my solo trip to Ripon and this hotel in particular.
