Vale Country Club is a stunning venue set in heart of the Vale of Clwyd.
Vale Country Club is a charming farm house with stunning views of the Clwydian range.
The décor of the ceremony room offers an inglenook fireplace, exposed beams, and underfloor heated slate floors, with large panoramic windows overlooking an area of outstanding natural beauty. The exposed oak roof beams play a major role in creating an accent on the ceiling and provides the ceremony room with a rustic and natural appearance.
The larger function room which can comfortably seat up to 200 people and has swooping folded hessian linings draped from the ceiling. A mixture of old and new, the room has large natural slate flooring, large pedestalled rounded solid wood tables that can seat up to 10 people. The mixture of hessian ceilings and the voile lined walls creates a timeless and versatile ambience, which can be adapted to suit any theme, from rustic to formal, ideal for your wedding day celebrations. Coloured LED lighting illuminates the 35ft deep working wishing well which is a grand feature in the room.
Vale Country Club is fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships and is available for exclusive use which ensures that the venue is totally private for you and your guests.
Your wedding breakfast will be cooked and prepared by our chef who prides himself with fresh produce delivered daily. Our serving staffs are professional and discreet giving you both reassurances that your wedding breakfast will be one to remember. We have a bridal preparation room in the main building for the bride and her bridesmaids to use as they prepare for the day.

I recently had the pleasure of doing a styled shoot at Vale Country Club, and it was such a wonderful experience. Set in the beautiful Welsh hills, the venue offers the most stunning backdrops — the kind that elevate any shoot or wedding day effortlessly. We stayed at this charming campsite just outside of Ruthin and absolutely loved it. Set within the grounds of the Vale Country Club, it offers both EHU and non-EHU pitches on a large grassy field. The field is on a hill, with slightly flatter pitches towards the top, giving some great views of the surrounding countryside. The facilities are excellent – toilets and showers are inside the country club itself and are kept to a very high standard. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a little stream running along the front field that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. It’s in a perfect spot for walking, with Moel Famau just a short drive away, and Ruthin close by if you need supplies or fancy exploring. The whole place has a peaceful, laid-back feel – ideal for unwinding after a day in the hills. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in North Wales with great walks on your doorstep.
