Stayed overnight to celebrate my Birthday , we were greeted by Mo as we arrived and he took our luggage and parked the car ! Lovely start to the visit. All the reception and hospitality staff were very welcoming and accommodating, we had a late checkout and again - Mo brought our car to us on leaving. Excellent Service x

I was at the Lowry for the Maggie's Charity Costume Ball held yearly at the hotel. Maggie's is a fantastic cancer support charity located across the road from the Manchester Christie's cancer hospital. Whilst I didn't stay at the hotel I have worked from the offices on the ground floor for many years where I design hotels as an architect and know the rooms are spectacular. As for the location, how can anyone ignore the fantastic bridge between Manchester & Salford, being the only design in the UK designed by Dr Santiago Calatrava, the world famous Spanish designer with few, if any designs built in the UK! The food is tremendous, the chefs renowned for their good cooking in Manchester.

5 stars all the way! This is my second stay at this hotel and they are always so accommodating. Pros - came early(11am) after an all night flight and my room was waiting for me(this happened last time too) - I asked for a bathtub but they renovated all the rooms so there no more bathtubs but she upgraded me to account for this(so sweet!) - rooms are modern, cozy and beautiful - food from room service was delicious and piping hot - every staff member was lovely and welcoming - loved all the teas and the hot chocolate in the room! Such a nice touch - a hair straighter in the room - such a cool feature! Cons -one night I wasn’t feeling like going down to dinner but wanted to enjoy the Sunday roast(I’ve had it before - very delicious!) but they weren’t able to do it via room service - I wish we had been able to accommodate that. I’m sure there was a reason - I had a spa treatment - I wouldn’t recommend. For a 5 star spa it lacks the amenities and the treatment itself was not great

Lovely large rooms with great staff. We didn't use many of the facilities, so a limited review here. Would go again though and make more of the facilities. Easy walk into town and personally it felt safe and comfortable....
